User roles and permissions

If you work with more than one person, not everyone needs access to everything. With Reservoria's role-based access control (RBAC), you give each team member only the permissions they need to do their job.

Why use roles?

  • Security — you limit access to sensitive areas (pricing, finance).
  • Clarity — everyone focuses on their own area of responsibility.
  • Traceability — who changed what is visible in the audit logs.

Typical role examples

  • Administrator — access to all settings and financial data.
  • Operations/Front Desk — booking and calendar management, with limited price-change rights.
  • Revenue/Pricing — price and availability management.
  • Viewer — only sees reports, cannot make changes (e.g. a property owner).

Assigning roles

  1. Invite the team member from the dashboard.
  2. Select the appropriate role or customize their permissions.
  3. If you have more than one property, specify which properties the person can access.

Tip

Apply the principle of least privilege: give each person only the access they need. When your team changes, remove the access of departing users promptly.
