iCal
Calendar & listing import Global
iCal is the common language of every system that shares a calendar: Google Calendar, Outlook, another PMS, or a site that speaks no channel-manager protocol.
What happens on this connection
Channel to panel
- Busy days are read (iCal)
- Listing details arrive as a draft
- Rates are NOT sent
What you should know
- Only busy days travel. Guest name, amount and booking code are not in the `.ics` file; rates are not sent either.
- Anyone who knows the address can pull the calendar — OTAs read this link without authentication. Treat any link you share as public.
- A day you closed by hand is never reopened by a sync, and a day that came from an external calendar is never pushed back (closures do not echo).
Frequently asked
- How often does it update?
- iCal works by polling, so it is not instant. For properties that need immediate closure, a channel-manager connection is the right path.
Shall we connect this channel?
If your property is registered there, we set up the mapping; it first runs in comparison mode and goes live once the numbers line up.
Connecting a channel depends on the property's own account and contract with it. · Contact us
