Room mapping and smart allocation

The same room might appear as "Sea View Suite" on Airbnb and "Deluxe Double" on Booking.com. Reservoria's smart room mapping feature links the room/unit types on each platform to a single room type of yours — so there's no confusion about which reservation goes to which room.

Why is it needed?

Channels name room types differently. Without mapping, it stays unclear which physical room an incoming reservation actually corresponds to, creating a risk of incorrect allocation or double booking. Mapping eliminates this risk.

How does it work?

  • Reservoria suggests matches between the channel's room types and your room types based on capacity (number of bedrooms, guest count, etc.).
  • You confirm the suggestions or correct them manually.
  • The algorithm learns over time and offers more accurate suggestions in similar situations.

Mapping steps

  1. When you connect a channel, Reservoria lists the room types on that channel.
  2. Map each channel room to the correct room type in Reservoria.
  3. If multiple channels sell the same physical room, link them all to the same Reservoria room type — inventory is managed from a single pool.

Tips

  • Whenever you add a new room type, update the mapping across all channels.
  • Keep capacity information accurate — mapping suggestions rely on it.
  • After mapping, check that a few test reservations land in the correct room.
