How is the Booking payout rate used?

Last updated: 3 August 2026

The finance screen can show two rates with different purposes: the guest invoice uses Booking's actual payout rate, while the hotel payout invoice uses the hotel invoice rate selected during reconciliation.

Rate on the guest invoice

When Booking pays in TRY, the system records the actual conversion rate from the TRY payout and the reservation's foreign-currency amount. The guest invoice uses this recorded rate and it cannot be edited in the panel.

Rate on the hotel payout invoice

The rate used for the invoice the hotel issues to Reservoria is a separate field. Select “Missing rate”; the system shows Booking's rate as the starting value. If authorised, you can change it and simulate the effect on the hotel's net amount before saving.

A higher rate increases the TRY equivalent of the same foreign-currency amount; a lower rate reduces it. Always check the before/after comparison and reconciliation total before saving.

If the rate is missing

  1. Check the Booking payout amount and reservation match.
  2. Open the affected reservations from Missing rate.
  3. Verify Booking's starting value; edit only the hotel payout rate when needed.
  4. Save and check the TRY total in the invoice preview again.
