A clear cancellation policy both earns your guests' trust and protects your revenue. With Reservoria, you can set your policies and manage changes from a single dashboard.
Types of cancellation policy
- Flexible — free cancellation up until close to the check-in date. Attracts more bookings.
- Moderate — free up to a certain date, with a partial charge afterward.
- Strict — no refund or a limited one in case of cancellation. Protects your revenue but may reduce demand.
Defining different policies based on season and occupancy is a good balance: stricter during busy periods, more flexible during quiet ones.
Reservation changes
When a guest requests a change to dates, room, or number of guests, you can update the relevant reservation from the dashboard. The change is reflected across all channels and your calendar is adjusted accordingly.
No-show (guest who doesn't arrive)
If a guest never arrives, mark the reservation as a no-show. Depending on your policy, a charge is applied and the relevant dates can be reopened for sale. In case of a dispute, marking the record correctly in the dashboard is important.
